Hurr hurrr here's the little watercolour effect tutorial for Paint Tool SAI. It might work with other light programs, too. It might be a little confusing, I couldn't focus well when I was doing this... But if there are any parts you don't understand, feel free to ask for help. :]

I used this effect on my Okami fanart which was completely made in SAI.

I'm so sorry for this epicly late response, I was taking a little break from dA... xD;; But *just in case* you're still wondering, the splatter effect was made simply by drawing with a normal brush/marker tool.

This is pretty cool.

Is there some way you could illustrate what you did in part three? I am using GIMP instead of SAI, so I need some sort of visual so that I can figure out how to work out the difference in available options.
